The mini textile park being set up in Kodakandla
HIT and Industries minister KTR Rao announced the setting up of a mini textile park at Kodakandla in the Warangal district to give rise to livelihood opportunities for around 20,000 weaving families here. The workers who migrated to other cities for work will gladly get to come back under this scheme and the state government's steps for them would continue for their welfare.
The Nethannaku Cheyutha scheme brought great relief to the weavers during the covid-19 pandemic. 25000 weavers received about Rs. 95 crore. The request to continue this program is also taken into consideration for their welfare.
